Reggie White (1961-2004) was an American football player who played as a defensive end for teams like Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers in the NFL. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.
White was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to parents Charles White Sr. and Thelma White. He had five siblings – two sisters and three brothers.
White was married to his wife Sara Copeland from 1982 until his death in 2004. The couple had four children together – two sons and two daughters.
After White's death, his family established the Reggie White Sleep Disorders Research and Education Foundation in memory of him. The foundation aims to promote education and research on sleep disorders, which White suffered from during his playing days.
